APPLICATION FOR FRENCH OVERLAY OR TIPS WITH ACTIVE

Preparation

1. Sanitize you and your client’s hands.
2. Gently push back cuticles.
3. Lightly buff nails, removing shine.
4. Dust off well with dust brush.
5. Wipe nails with Prep & Clean, using a lint free pad, to remove oils and dust and to disinfect.
6. If you are applying tips, follow Tip Application.

Application

1. Apply a thin even layer of Active Component over the prepared natural nail and/or tip[1].

2. Cure 2 minutes in light unit. Repeat on other hand.

3. DO NOT REMOVE the dispersion film, it ensures proper adhesion to the following coat.

4. Using a stylus, apply a thin layer of Active White. Move your stylus from one side to the other in a back and forth motion

5. Using a clean, dry brush, keep the brush flat to the natural nails smile line; create a crisp smile line. Cure for 2 minutes. Repeat on other hand.

6. If you are creating a pink and white nail you would add a coat of any one of the pinks on to the nail plate at this time.

7. Then perform a “reverse smile line” to keep your whites bright. Cure for 2 minutes. Repeat on the other hand.

8. Apply another coat of clear Active Component over the entire nail; stay clear of cuticle and sidewalls.

8. Cure 2 minutes in light unit. Repeat on other hand.

9. Wipe off dispersion film with Prep & Clean. File nail smooth to perfect shape.

10. Apply sealer and cure 2 minutes.

11. Wipe off dispersion film with Prep & Clean to finish complete nail application.

The nails now have a high gloss finish and the overlay or French tips are complete.

[1] To achieve greater adhesion Connector may be used instead of Active Clear.
